Description

Perfect beauty and a love that never died.

This coffee mug shows two couples of the impressive reliefs of the tomb (TT55) of Vizier Ramose. He was in office in the last decade of Amenhotep’s III reign and at the beginning of the reign of the latter king. What is special about his grave is the stunning quality of the wall decorations; the most impressive part is undoubtedly that relief wall with its depictions of several couples worked out in the finest detail, which are shown in the beauty of their youth and in tender embrace and harmonious proximity.
Millennia beyond the death of these people, this wall testifies to the deep conviction that the family, the intimacy and love between people who are close to each other are among the greatest goods in the world that we do not want to lose even after death.

Feel this closeness to your loved ones with every sip of this cup and understand that the memory of a love can still defeat death even after thousands of years.
And so, these ceramic mugs not only have a beautiful design on them, but also a deeper message besides the colourful rim, handle, and inside, so the mug is bound to spice up your mug rack.

Trivia: The lettering "Eternal Love!" is written in 19th century German Kurrent script.
